DofE Volunteering

Well done for taking on the challenge of DofE.  And yes, we can help you complete the volunteering section – all while having fun at the same time!

Depending on the level of DofE Award you're doing, the volunteering section lasts for a minimum of:

• Bronze.  3 months*

• Silver.  6 months**

• Gold.  12 months**

Notes:

* Increased to 6 months if you choose volunteering as your 'extended section'.

** If you've not completed the earlier awards, Direct Entrants to Silver and Gold might have to volunteer for an additional 6 months.

Our sections meet every week during term time, but not over school holidays.  There may also be extra for activity days or overnight camps at the weekend.

The first and last week of each term tends to be very busy for our members at school, so our Section Teams meet up to plan the activity programme instead.  As part of our team, you'll be invited if you'd like to contribute your ideas.

Your Module A e-learning also counts towards your volunteering time.
